2. Click Register With Google.
3. Click on your WCS Google Account.
4. Now you are ready to use TeacherMade. This directs you to the TeacherMade dashboard.
5. To create a worksheet, click Create Worksheet. However, if you have not yet created your first worksheet, click Get Started.
6. Fill in the required information in the Title field. The Description box (not required) can include instructions for the students.
7. Next, we will add the PDF file of the worksheet. Before completing this step, you must first save a copy of the PDF file of the worksheet to your computer. For example, you can save the file in your Documents or Downloads folder on your computer.
8. Click the box beneath the Background tab to add the PDF file of your worksheet to TeacherMade.
9. Select the file from your computer and click Open.
10. The worksheet will appear in the Background tab. Click Create Worksheet.
11. Now you ready to make the worksheet interactive. Click Insert.
12. From the drop menu, you have several options. You can make the worksheet a short answer, multiple choice, matching, etc. In this example, we will select Short Answer since we want the students to be able to type the answers in the boxes beside of each state.
13. Click on the worksheet where you want to insert the text box for the Short Answer. Adjust the size of the text box by grabbing the blue squares on the corners and stretching it to fit.
14. Repeat the process for each text box by clicking Insert and then clicking on the worksheet where you want to add the text box.
15. Next, you will need to type in the answers in the boxes to create an answer key for you and make it possible to grade the worksheet. (A) Click in one of the boxes and then (B) Click Edit Short Answer.
16. Click the drop menu to set the number of points the question is worth for scoring purposes. You can set different point values for each question.
17. Type the correct answer in the first box. Optional: If the answer needs to be an exact match (upper and lower case sensitive), click the box Answers Must Match the Case (Upper or Lower) to Be Correct.
Note: If the question has more than one correct answer, you can insert additional answers in the line located below the first answer box where it says Add a Correct Response. If there is only one correct answer, leave the second box blank. If you have multiple correct answers and need to remove a box, click the X located to the right of the box.
18. Click Save Changes.
19. Repeat steps 15-18 for all additional answers boxes.
20. When you have finished editing, click the X located to the right of the worksheet name to close the worksheet.
