Snipping Tool on Chromebooks
1.Press and hold down the
CTRL
and
SHIFT
keys on the Chromebook’s keyboard. Then press the
SCREEN
button located above the
number 6
key.
2. Your screen will go slightly dark. The cursor becomes a small
+
sign.
3. Drag the cursor across the portion of the screen that you want to snip.
4. The snip will be saved to the folder on the Chromebook in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click
Copy to Clipboard.
5. You can then paste the snipping into a Google Doc or other program. Open the program (in this example, we opened a Google Doc).
6. Press and hold down the
CTRL
button and press the letter
V
to paste the snippet into the doc.
7. The pasted snippet is now visible on your doc.
