If you have assigned a quiz to your students using Google Forms but only have it set to respond once and someone needs to take the quiz again, you can reset a student’s responses. Here is how to do it:
Go to the Google Form in your Google Drive.
2. On the Form in question, clickResponses.
3. Click on the student’s name for whom you need to reset the quiz.
4. Click the Trashbutton. This deletes the student’s responses, but not your original Google Form, and allows the student to retake the quiz.
You can also Reset the Google Sheet associated with your Form.
Google Forms includes a Google Sheet feature which generates a list of all student responses to a Form in a Google Sheet (just like a spreadsheet). If you reset a Form for a student, you can also adjust the responses on the Google Sheet. Here’s how to do it:
In the Google Form, click Responses.
2. Click on the green cross icon to open up the sheet.
3. It may ask if you want to create a new sheet. If you have already created a new sheet it will not ask to create another one.
4. In the sheet, right click on the number next to the row of the student who you want to be able to re-take the test. Click Delete Row. Now the student will be able to re-take it because the sheet no longer sees their name.
