Drive for Desktop is a program that allows you to sync the files and folders on your computer to your Google Drive. Drive for Desktop replaced the old Google Backup and Sync program that worked the same way.
Drive for Desktop allows you to have a copy of every file on your computer in Google Drive in case something happens that your computer is not working. Drive for Desktop is easy to install and can be easily removed if you decide to not sync your computer's files with Google Drive.
