1.You have three options for creating an assessment activity: Import Worksheets/Questions, Generate with AI, and Create from Scratch. Let's examine each option.
2. Click Import Worksheets/Questions.
3. You can upload a previously created worksheet or question bank from your Device or from Google Drive. Click the option where your worksheet is saved. There is a file size limit of 25 MB and no more than 30 pages.
4. The Generate with AI option allows you to create activities based on information from other documents and websites.
2. Click Create from Scratch.
3. There are many options available for creating a Quiz. You can add questions from (A) the vast Quizizz library by entering search terms to locate questions about specific topics or (B) creating your own questions by selecting from the different question types (Multiple Choice, Reorder, Drag and Drop, etc.)
4. To select a question from the Quizizz library, click the cursor in the search box.
5. In this example, we are searching for quizzes about computers. You can filter the search by Grade level (K-12 and College Level), by Subject, by the Number of Questions, and by Languages. Below these options, you can select to search for questions from the Community content bank, My District, or My Library.
Note: If you are just getting started with Quizizz, you will not have any questions saved in your Library, so you can select either Community or My District.
6. For our search, we selected 5th under the Grades menu, Computers for the Subjects menu, 21-30 for the number of questions, and English for the Languages menu. From our search results, we selected the Computers Vocabulary quiz.
7. This quiz on Computers Vocabulary contains 23 questions. They are located on the right side of the screen.
8. If you do not want to use all 23 questions for your quiz, you can add questions individually by clicking the Add Question box in the top right corner of the question. To add all of the 23 possible questions to your quiz, click the Add all 23 questions tab at the top of the page.
9. The questions you select will appear on the left side of the screen under the Untitled Quiz window.
10. After you have added all the questions you want from the list, click the X to close the question selection tab.
Adjusting the Settings for Questions:
11. You can change the settings for each question if necessary. For example, you can adjust the amount of time students have to answer each question and how many points the question is worth.
12. In this example, you can change the amount of time students get to answer the question from 5 to 45 seconds.
13. You can also rearrange the order of the questions by clicking the small box with the six squares and dragging it to where you want it placed in the quiz.
14. Click the Edit button for more options to edit a question.
15. You can (A) edit the question itself, (B) change the correct answer if needed, and (C) change the setting to allow only a single correct answer or multiple correct answers.
16. You can also change the type of question by clicking the dropdown menu in the top left corner of the screen just above the question.
17. Once you have changed all settings that you need for the question, click Save Question. Repeat this process for any other questions that you want to edit.
18. Click the Untitled Quiz box to name this quiz.
19. Click the dropdown menus to: (A) name your quiz, (B) select a subject area for this quiz, (C) select the appropriate grade level(s), (D) select the language, and (E) adjust the visibility setting. For the visibility setting, you can select to make this quiz Publicly Visible (the quiz will be publicly visible in the Quizziz Library) or Restricted (visible only to you and those to whom you share this quiz).
20. Click Save when you are finished.
21. Click Publish to add the quiz to the Quizziz library.
