1.Click the Write Your Own Questions tab.
2. Select your question type: Multiple Choice/Select or Short Answer.
3. In this example, we have selected the Multiple Choice/Select option. Type your question in the first box. Then type the possible answer choices in the other boxes.
4. By default, the number of answer choices is four. You can delete an answer row by hovering the cursor over the box and a trash can icon will appear on the right side. Click the trash can icon to delete that answer row.
5. Once you have typed the question and the answer choices, select the box containing the correct answer by clicking the small checkmark icon located to the right of the answer.
6. Click Add Question.
7. Click the + Sign under the question to add another question.
8. Repeat steps 3-6 for the second question. Then click the + Sign to add additional questions.
9. For each question in the quiz/test, you can change the question type by clicking the Question Type box in the upper right corner and selecting either Multiple Choice or Short Answer. In this case, we are changing the second question to a short answer type question. This allows you to create a quiz/test with a mix of multiple choice and short answer questions.
10. For short answer questions, type the question in the first box. Then type the correct answer in the second box. Depending on your preference, you can also select if the answer has to be an Exact Match or Accept Mathematical Equivalence.
11. You can delete questions after adding them by clicking the trash can icon located in the top right corner of the question.
12. Click Move to Review once you have added all the questions to the quiz/test.
13. Select the question order to decide if the questions will be in the same order for all students or in random order. Then decide whether or not to make scores and correct answers visible after students submit the quiz and after the quiz ends.
14. Click Publish to Quiz Library.
15. Once the quiz is published, click Go to Quiz Library to see the quiz.
