In the search bar in the lower left corner of the screen, 1. type Sound. Then 2. select Sound Settings.
2. On the Sound page, click Sound Control Panel.
3. Right Click on the Speakers tab in the box that appears.
4. Select Properties.
5. Select Properties in the next box that appears.
6. Click Change Settings in the box that appears.
7. Click Driver.
8. Click Update Driver.
9. Click the first option Search Automatically for Drivers.
10. You may get a message saying that the best driver are already installed. It will look like this:
11. If you do not get this message, it may bring up a list of recommended drivers instead. If you receive that message, click on the driver it recommends and see if that fixes the sound on the computer.

4. Right Click on the microphone and select Properties.
5. Click the Levels tab.
6. Adjust the microphone level by sliding the bar left or right.
