**Please secure your wifi with passwords and change your password often.

**Child getting on at night? Turn on settings for them to only be able to access at certain times. Depending on your router, you may have parent controls to allow for hours for certain users.

**Phones or tablets or laptops an issue? Keep them charging in your kitchen or in your bedroom.

**Student not getting homework done due to youtube or games instead of doing their actual work? Look into blacklisting or whitelisting certain websites

Kindergarten

1st Grade

This will be updated as we learn

2nd Grade

September:

Students have discussed managing their time online, asking for permission before going online, not sharing passwords, and only visiting approved websites.

3rd Grade

September: Discussed password safety and security. Students learned that passwords should have at least 8 characters with at least 1 capital letter, 1 number, 1 symbol, and something they can remember but have NOT shared with any friends. Students will begin changing passwords towards the end of September with Mrs. Strong in STEAM and your student will share their password with you as well.

4th Grade

September: We are discussing Private Personal Information and what we can share online and what we cannot share online. We discussed that we need to be careful talking to anyone online. We also will be going through a brief list of cybersecurity threats that students in elementary school see the most and what to do.

5th Grade
