I graduated from NC State in 1997 as an Electrical Engineer. I spent over 16 years in Corporate America working with people from around the world. After a successful career, I decided to move to education to help prepare students for their future. I love seeing students make connections and grow. I use both my educational and career success and incorporate them in my teaching. I believe in thinking critically.

My wife and I have 2 children, MJ (10th grader at South Garner High School) and Alisa (Sophomore at Campbell University). Both of our children attended Wilburn Elementary for grades K-5. This is my 5th year here at Wilburn and I am grateful to be a part of our Wilburn family!
