2023-2024 SSA INFORMATION

*Single Subject Acceleration (SSA) is the practice of assigning a student to a higher-grade level than is typical, given the student’s age, for the purpose of providing access to appropriately challenging learning opportunities in either Math or English Language Arts. SSA only allows a student to test in one subject per year. Once successfully qualified, students can only be accelerated in one subject area between 1st-8th grade. Students must be enrolled in WCPSS at the time of request/testing windows for the next school year (2024-2025).
