My child cannot log in to the Wake ID portal on a Chromebook.
If this is a shared device add the student to the device as a "guest user".
My child can log into the portal but cannot access Google Classroom.
Personal student Chromebooks may have the Family Security Link installed. This prevents access to Google Classroom and more.
Families will need to add another account - perhaps called School - without Family Link. The child will use this account to login to his WakeID etc.
AFTER school work is complete, the child will need to log out, and log back into their usual account in order to be under Family Link again
Wake county has set up a new student/parent webpage for the 20-21 school year.
