Apple had their second fall event October 13th, and they released two new products, the Apple iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and the new HomePod Mini plus. Also exciting, MagSafe magnetic chargers are back!

The new HomePod Mini is for $99 and it has the same mesh clothing as the HomePod. Also, it runs on the S5 chip, but it lacks some features like spatial awareness. Other than that it is a great buy!
Apple has debuted a new feature called Intercom, in which if you have multiple HomePods around the house can ‘broadcast’ your message to other rooms. This is available in the HomePod too. Available starting 11/16
This year, Apple has also announced the release of the iPhone 12 on November 16, Specifically the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 Pro Max, and 12 Mini. At the same time, the 11, XR, and SE are still available. These iPhones support 5G and have brought back the return of MagSafe. With MagSafe, you can charge your iPhone better wirelessly, and you can also attach cardholders and stuff to the back of your iPhone. Along with that, there is the new LiDAR scanner that is helpful for AR. And as for the notch, it still exists - sitting up there in all its glory. All the new iPhones also have the Super Retina XDR display. They have the iPhone 5 design, with squared-off edges. Obviously, the new iPhones are powered by the A14 Bionic chip which has a 6 core CPU and a 4 core GPU along with other parts. Here is a full comparison of the new iPhones and the iPhones Apple currently sells, a lot of people have asked me what iPhone to buy this year - and I’ve told them all one thing, buy the iPhone with the color that you like and the storage option you like because they are all 98% the same. Buy the 11 for a kid if you don’t want to spend much, and the XR if you are thrifty. The SE is for the home button lovers, and those who are on a budget as well. Here’s a chart comparing them all: iPhone Comparison
A little side note, this event was rumored to have brought the ARM Macs and the AirPods Studio and AirTags - no announcement has been made at the moment, however, we can expect a November Event for these products. Stay Tuned!
