Mrs. Johnson's 2nd grade Class 

Welcome to Track 4 2nd grade!  I am so excited to teach your child this year!  This year is going to be a fun year.  I am confident that we are going to have an amazing year!  

A little about myself...

 I was born in Columbus Ohio, I have lived in Illinois and High Point, NC.  I went Meredith College and graduated with a degree in Psychology and a K-6 Teacher Certificate.  I have loved living in Raleigh and have lived here for over 30 years. 

This is my 18th year teaching.  I taught 1st grade for 5 years, 5th grade for 8 years and  this will be my 5th year teaching 2nd grade.  I am so excited to teach your child.  I simply LOVE kids and watching them grow and learn. I have been married for 29 years and together my husband ,Mike ,and I share 3 wonderful children.  Sam is 27 years old and recently graduated from Kansas University and is working for LULULemon as a Manager. Ben is 25 and is a Mechanical Engineer specializing in tool & dye making and works for Superior Tooling, and Sarah Grace is 22 and recently graduated from App State University and moved to Wilmington NC and is working on the marketing team for Fisherman's Post. We have 2 labs Winnie and Bear and they are my heart!
