My Name is Mrs. Demick. I have been teaching 1st Grade since 2013. This will be my 2nd year at Lake Myra Elementary school and my 9th year with WCPSS.
My Name is Mrs. Demick. I have been teaching 1st Grade since 2013. This will be my 2nd year at Lake Myra Elementary school and my 9th year with WCPSS.
I was born and raised in California and moved to North Carolina in 2006. I have been married to my husband Michael for more than 27 years and have 3 children (Hannah 24, Jacob 22, and Shayna 18). All 3 of my children attended Wake County Public Schools and are currently pursuing their college degrees. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs. I enjoy being outdoors gardening, jogging, riding my bike, walking my dogs, and reading on my porch. I absolutely love watching my students grow as leaders and readers. I believe that student success can only be achieved through teamwork and communication.
