My name is Elisha Dalton and I moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 2008 to begin my teaching career with Wake County Public Schools. I graduated from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA as a dual major in both Elementary Education K-6 and Special Education birth to 12th.
I have been an educator with Wake County for 17 years, I have taught Pre-K and Kindergarten. This will be my third year at Lake Myra and I am excited to continue my journey in Kindergarten here at the Lake. This year will be my ninth year as a Kindergarten teacher. I believe that all of my students deserve the best education and come to school everyday ready to help them grow their love of learning.
I am also a proud wife and mom. My husband and I have been together for 20 years. We have 2 children, Brek (11) and Charlotte (8) who also attend LMES! When I'm not at school you can usually find me with my family either at hockey games and practice, horse riding lessons or at the soccer field. Our family stays busy! We also have a dog, Nora and a cat, Quincey. Outside of school I enjoy reading, Disney, cheering for the Hurricanes and spending time with my family.
