My name is Kristina Brown, and I am proud to be a Golden Hawk!

I grew up in the Winston-Salem area and then attended UNC Wilmington to earn my degree in education. I taught English at both the middle and high school levels in Brunswick County for eleven years before moving to Wake County in 2018 to be closer to family.

I enjoy reading classic literature, but you can also find me reading mystery and suspense novels in my spare time. I love doing puzzles, playing board games, cheering for Pittsburgh sports, and going on bike rides and hikes with my husband and two sons.
