Online learning will consist of various instructional models. Third grade students will participate in whole-class, small group, and individual sessions using Google Meet. Students will also engage in pre-recorded lessons, cooperative group work, and independent practice assignments.
The third grade teachers and students will use the following avenues to learn and communicate this year:
Google Classroom = main content platform; gives access to all instruction and assignments via a daily slideshow
Message Board = daily updates & reminders, student questions
Google Meet* = teachers will provide live instruction and support through meets
Student Email = lesson feedback & communication (student email will possibly be used in the near future - more information to come!)
*Meet links will be provided within the Google Classroom slideshows.
Students will use a variety of resources to complete the lessons assigned in Google Classroom.
A few of the most commonly used links are:
Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Forms
