I started my teaching career in 1995 after receiving my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at Appalachian State University. After teaching for several years in Wake County Schools, I realized that I enjoyed teaching and learning with technology. I furthered my education by attending North Carolina State University and received my Master of Education in Instructional Technology.
Over the years I taught third and fourth grade before moving on to be an Instructional Resource Teacher, Instructional Technology Facilitator and now a Digital Learning Coordinator.
I look forward to working with you this year to create professional learning opportunities that focus on lesson development, delivery, and management with digital tools.
