I am so excited to be teaching 4th grade again this year at Ballentine Elementary Staff! This is my 18th year of teaching and will be my 16th year in the 4th grade. I moved to Fuquay 16 years ago with my husband and have since had 2 boys. Grant is a fun-loving 9 year old and will be starting 4th grade at BES! Reid is my 7 year old daredevil who gets to continue his BES journey in 2nd grade this year!!

I love the curriculum and content of the 4th grade, and the students are the BEST to watch grow and learn! We will be working hard from day one to develop a classroom community and a growth mindset that will help each child grow and develop throughout this school year. 

I will be using Talking Points to send announcements and communicate with parents. 

We will be using the new system, Cavas,  for assignments, announcements, newsletters, etc. Please check this site often!
