Mr. Cunningham

This is my first year teaching at Ballentine, but I was also once a student here! I graduated from NC State University (Go Pack!) with a degree in English and a minor in Business Entrepreneurship, and now I’m thrilled to bring my passion for learning into the third-grade classroom.

I believe school should be a place where students feel supported, inspired, and ready to shine. I love using creativity, teamwork, and a little humor to help my students grow into confident learners and kind classmates.

When I’m not teaching, I love playing basketball, spinning records from my vinyl collection, and hanging out with my energetic puppy! I'm always up for a good laugh, a great song, and a new adventure—both inside and outside the classroom.

I can't wait for all the fun, growth, and learning we’ll experience together this year!
