Important Announcements:
Our rising 9th-grade family meeting will be presented at 11:00 AM on February 26 via Google Meet.
This meeting will cover general high school information and upcoming high school course registration. The session will be recorded and posted on this website along with a FAQ document from the meeting. Representatives from Panther Creek, Green Hope, and Cary high schools will be available in breakout rooms after the general high school information is presented.

Rising 9th Grade Registration Timeline:
Teachers will input course recommendations into PowerSchool for rising 9th graders by February 16, 2024.
Rising 9th-grade registration student presentations will be held on the following dates:
Track 1: February 23rd
Track 2, 3, and 4: March 12th
Track 1 students will select their 9th-grade course selections between February 26 and March 3.
Tracks 2-4 students will select their 9th-grade course selections between March 12 and March 18.

High School Information and Registration
This Lesson will be presented to Track 1 students on Friday, February 23, during their social studies classes. For Track 2-4, the presentation will be presented in the auditorium on Tuesday, March 12, during social studies classes.

High School Specific Information
Students will choose 9th grade classes based on their high school's course registration sheet. Each high school will also offer an Open House to provide information about their school, courses, extracurricular activities, and athletics. Students can find the name of their high school under the "Class Registration" tab in PowerSchool. All course requests need to be made in PowerSchool by the deadlines listed above. After registration, be sure to check the high school websites linked below for information about orientations, tryouts, and other important information!
