At Alston Ridge Middle, we only have a morning bell to move to 1st period and an end of day bell for dismissal, so it's important you watch the clock to make sure you are on time for class.

If you arrive on campus between 7:45 AM and 8:10 AM, you will report to your Warrior Time room. This is a great time to take care of errands or work on upcoming assignments. This class is considered your homeroom.
You will also go to Warrior Time before/after lunch (depending on your grade level). This time is used for silent reading, working on assignments, brain breaks, and other activities.
During PE & fitness rotations, students need to change into their gym uniform. This is for safety and hygiene reasons.
The Alston Ridge gym uniform is a plain grey t-shirt with black or navy bottoms.
Students may purchase an Alston Ridge gym uniform for $10 from their Healthful Living teacher.
Dismissal: Bus riders stay in their last period class until their bus is called. Buses are also posted on the TVs in each classroom. Walkers and car riders go out the front door when the 3:00 PM bell rings.
Stairs & Elevator: Students will use the inside staircases to go upstairs and the staircases in the collaborative spaces to go downstairs. Only students with an elevator pass are allowed to use the elevator.
Fire Drills: Walk quietly in a single-file line to the area designated by your teacher.
Hall Passes: All students will need a pass when they leave the classroom. Bathroom passes are available in each classroom.
