The survey has been translated into various languages; Spanish, Arabic, French, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese in an effort to provide accessibility to families in Wake County Public Schools. The survey administration language can be chosen by families before taking the survey. Please see this link: http://bit.ly/WCPSSFamilySurvey (updated4/14/23)
PARENTS: If you are interested in learning more about Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy, please use the following links:
MAKE UP WORK: As students are out sick we are receiving a high volume of communication from parents asking about make-up work. As a convenience for all families, AFMS teachers are all required to post daily work on Canvas. Every student has seen the Canvas page of every class and has been told that they can find make-up work there. Parents do not need to reach out about make up work. This policy and practice is the same across 7th grade. Any paper copies a student may need will be provided when they return. As our students grow and mature, we want them to have opportunities like this to practice mastering personal responsibility. Thank you!

My students have received plenty of opportunities to study and prepare for the Math EOG. On Tuesday we will discuss testing strategies & tips. On Wednesday we will review number sense one more time and then Thursday is the big day. I know they are ready and can rock this out of the park! However, my students know this is only 1 test and this 1 test will never define who they are or what kind of student they have become.
