- Students were introduced to the first unit of Social Studies, Thinking Like A Historian, and we went over assessment expectations. Students completed a lunchroom activity to evaluate evidence from sourcing and corroborating eyewitness accounts.

- Students completed notes on the regions of the United States and used their notes and a textbook to label a map of the United States.

- Today, students visited the media center where they took part in a primary/secondary sourcing activity with the media coordinator, Mrs. Cassidy. We will apply our knowledge gained throughout the unit!

- Today, students received their assessment study guide (assessment planned for Friday, Sept. 13th). Upon completion, we reviewed our maps of the United States and then labeled a map of NC.
