Agape Center Fall 2019

On Thursday, October 10, 2019, we will take a field trip to the Agape Center for Environmental Education in Fuquay-Varina, NC. This field trip will take place during the school day. The exact cost is $15 per student. For this experience, students will be testing the air quality at a stream and pod for both abiotic and biotic factors.

Field Trip Student Schedule on Thurs. 10/10:

• Normal start to school day (bus or carpool as usual); students will go to P2 time and homeroom for attendance.
• Team meeting in the pod.
• Report to bus no later than 9:30 A.M. After we ensure all students are on the bus, we will depart.
• Arrive at Camp Agape 10:00 A.M. and break into 4 field trip groups.
• Small group and whole group activities led by camp staff from 10:15 A.M. -12:30 P.M.
• Sack lunch at Camp Agape 12:30 P.M.
• Wrap up with staff 12:50 P.M.
• Board Bus for LRMS 1:00 P.M.
• Return to Lufkin Road 1:30 P.M.
• Students report to 8th and 9th period, transportation home as usual at the end of the day.
