7th Grade ELA Grading Information:
- Standard Based Reading Checks (SbRc): 2 points per question (6 to 8 points possible)
- Mid-Unit Assessment: 20 total points to demonstrate mastery of the standards
- End of Unit Assessment: 40 total points to demonstrate mastery of the standards
- Performance Task: 30 total points that synthesize mastery of the standards
- Total Points per Quarter: Approximately 150 to 200
- Missing Work: If students have missing work, a zero will be placed in PowerSchool until the assignment is turned in.
For Davis Drive middle school level courses:
- Remediation is offered for major assessments at the teacher's discretion when a student earns below 70% on the assessment.
- Students may earn UP TO a 70%
- Available one time per assessment.
- Students may be required to complete additional tasks in order to recover points.
7th Grade ELA Remediation
- will be available for Standard-Based Reading Checks (SbRc’s), Mid-Unit Assessments, and End-of-Unit Assessments and will follow the DDMS grading policy. Students have one week to do corrections once their original score is shared.
