About Mrs. Williams

Welcome to second grade! My name is Keely Williams, and I will be your child’s teacher. I want to thank you for entrusting your child to me. I promise to work hard daily and be the best possible teacher for your child. I believe in sharing a caring, comfortable, and challenging learning environment that will allow for plenty of laughter and fun. It will give your child the opportunity to make choices and take risks while providing structure and boundaries that will foster growth, both academically and socially. My hope is that this year your child will become a more confident, independent learner!

This marks my 29th year of teaching elementary students! It’s my favorite thing to do besides being a mother to our four daughters and a wife to my husband-also for 29 years! I enjoy playing tennis and serving at our church. We have a dog-Bogey and a cat-Abby, along with our sweet classroom pet-Lucky, a 3 footed lion mane bunny, that your child will fall in love with!

It is very important to me that you and I approach this year as a team effort with you, your son or daughter being the other team members. All successful teams have excellent communication, so please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns. Our primary source of communication will be through SeeSaw. This source will share important dates, reminders, photos, and student work. There will also be videos and website links to use for extra practice at home.
