Dear Parents,

Welcome to second grade! My name is Brandi Love, and I will be your child’s teacher. First, I want to thank you for entrusting your child to me. I promise to work hard daily and be the best possible teacher for your child. I believe in sharing a caring, comfortable, and challenging learning environment that will allow for plenty of laughter and fun. It will give your child the opportunity to make choices and take risks while providing structure and boundaries that will foster growth, both academically and socially. My hope is that this year your child will become a more confident, independent learner!

I have been teaching in the state of North Carolina since 2001. This will mark my 20th year as a public educator. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my husband and our twin 11 year old daughters. Our girls, Sophi and Sierra actively play for a travel softball team, which keeps us quite busy on the weeknights and weekends. Watching them play brings us such joy!

It is very important to me that you and I approach this year as a team effort with you, your son or daughter being the other team members. All successful teams have excellent communication, so please feel free to contact me. I look forward to our year together!
