We are pleased to announce that the Maryland Music Educators Association Conference Committee selected our choral audio submission for the 2024 MMEA Annual State Conference. BISFA Choirs will be performing at the Music Teachers Conference at the Baltimore Convention Center in February of 2024.

Welcome!

Barbara Ingram School for the Arts, located in Hagerstown, Maryland, is a public magnet high school that opened its doors in August 2009

The mission of the Vocal Music Program at the Barbara Ingram School for the Arts is to provide an environment where students achieve the highest levels of musical artistry while making powerful connections and lifelong friendships through singing. In the Vocal Program, students cultivate creativity and collaboration, develop an appreciation for a variety of musical styles, and have unique, educational, and fun experiences that they will remember the rest of their lives. We enter as individuals, work as a team, and leave as a family.

Our Program

Having received solo and choral recognition from NAfME, Maryland Music Educators Association, and the American Choral Directors Association, BISFA students are proud to be in one of the top choral programs in the state of Maryland. Our BISFA choirs have enjoyed esteemed honors, such as performing for the Governor in our state capitol and at Carnegie Hall.
