About me:
Hello, and welcome to the Blazer Middle School Band Program! I am Christen Williams, and I will be serving as the band director this year! I am so excited to go on this musical journey with you. I graduated from Carson-Newman University in 2014 where I participated in the concert band, symphonic band, the Marching Eagles, percussion ensemble, and jazz band. Upon graduation, I worked as a percussion instructor and clinician in Morristown, Rogersville, and Johnson City communities. In my previous role, I was the band director at Unaka High School in Elizabethton, TN for 5 years. I look forward to working with the students of Washington County, and help them grow to their full potential as a musician.
