Private Channels within Teams

To create a private channel with only a few members of your team, do the following:

1)     Whilst in your team, select the three dots next to your team name and select ‘Manage Team’.

3)     Give the channel a name and description and then select ‘Private’ for the ‘Privacy’ setting. This will allow you to select a subgroup of users from the team you are in. 

4)     Select which users from the team you would like to add to this private channel then press ‘Done’.
