As we have been in the process of recovering all of our emails from a backup, Outlook may have prompted you to use a temporary email profile. The following procedure will fix this:
1. Close all opened Outlook windows and emails.
2. On your keyboard hold the Windows key and hit ‘R’ ----- (W) + R
3. Type ‘outlook /profiles’ (without quotation marks), into the box and hit ‘OK’.
Ensure you are entering a space between outlook and /profiles - “Outlook /profiles”.
4. Click on the ‘Options” button:
5. Click on ‘Delete’. (Note it’s safe to delete as we are only removing the local copy of your email data, all information is still safe on our server):
6. Select ‘Yes’:
7. Press the "New..." button and then type in a name for your email profile (it doesn’t matter what you call it), hit ‘OK’:
8. Hit ‘OK’.
Depending on your version of Outlook, you may be presented with a couple of extra prompts:
a. Click “Connect”.
b. Click “Exchange” or “Exchange 2013”, either will work.
c. If it’s ticked, untick “Set up outlook on my mobile phone…”, then click “Done”
9. Outlook will open and it will download all of your emails from the server:
