Camera Phones

Home > Staff > School Hardware > Camera Phones

The school has provided camera phones to allow staff to securely take photos of students during school activities and classes. Each phone is connected to the school network and will automatically upload all photos and videos to the school's Microsoft OneDrive cloud storage. Each phone is linked to a grade or faculty specific shared folder which accessible only by the members of that grade or faculty. Phones are labelled on the back with which grade they belong to.

Any photos that are taken are automatically uploaded to the shared drive within 2-3 minutes. To access these drives, first click on the link below that matches your grade, which will open a SharePoint site in your browser. If prompted to sign in, use your school email address and password.

Once this page has opened in your browser, you should see a screen similar to the image below. Click the "Sync" button, as circled in red.

You will be prompted to open Microsoft OneDrive as shown to the right.  Click the button labelled "Open Microsoft OneDrive" to continue.

You will then receive a message saying that your files are being synced. You can click the "Close" button.

Once this is complete, all images in the shared drive are accessible via Windows Explorer. Navigate to "wccs.nsw.edu.au" as circled below, then you should see your selected photo folder as circled in red.

Photos are saved into folders by year, then month. e.g. 2023 > 10 as shown below.
