At WCCS, we use Seesaw as a way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom. The app is used in Prep-4 and helps to break down the walls of the classroom, allowing a glimpse into the day-to-day learning journey of your child.
Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology. Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes.
As a parent, you have the ability to encourage your child by leaving likes and comments on their work as they upload it to their journal. Students love receiving feedback from their parents throughout the day and it provides the students with purpose and pride as they complete tasks.
When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification or email. Parents are only notified about their own child’s work, and all data is safe and secure.
