Being the first of many to come, the Netflix House opened on November 12 this year in the King of Prussia Mall, Pennsylvania. This is not far from West Chester and marks a huge spark of interest with surrounding people. While other versions of the location are opened, such as the one in Dallas, and other ones are planned, such as the one in New Vegas, the first ever one being this close brings a whole new venue for entertainment. The site itself is based solely around media trending within Netflix, the very popular streaming service as many may know. This includes their intellectual properties such as Wednesday, Stranger Things, Squid Games, One Piece, and many others. With these, there are various interactive games and experiences based around shows as well as different spots for photoshoots, shopping, or eating. As
Now, with this new indoor and interactive amusement park there can be many entertaining things to do and see. For example, there is Wednesday: Eve of the Outcasts, where one can partake in several fun carnival games and even solve a murder mystery. Along with that there’s an escape room adventure based on the recent live action adaptation of the popular anime, One Piece, in One Piece: Quest for the Devil Fruit. Aside from that, there are smaller attractions such as the Top 9 Mini Golf and the Netflix Virtual Simulations. Top 9 Mini Golf features several trending Netflix series such as Is It Cake?, Floor is Lava, WWE, Stranger Things, etc. The Netflix Virtuals offer a virtual experience of some classic iconic series where you go on adventures through a realistic simulation of different worlds: Squid Game, Stranger Things, and even Rebel Moon. Besides that, there is Netflix Bites, a place where you can order food inspired by all things Netflix, and the Netflix Shop, which holds many pieces of exclusive merchandise. Lastly, there are tons of photo shoot spots and the TUNDUM Theater, which houses events and even shows, such as the season finale for Stranger Things.
These new thrilling experiences bring a whole new immersive attraction in close vicinity to West Chester and the King of Prussia Mall itself. While already a big appeal with it being the second largest mall in the United States, the King of Prussia Mall has seen its biggest add-on yet with the first ever Netflix House. And with it only being a near 30 minute drive, it is highly accessible for people in close proximity. It is recommended to go to the mall if you are especially interested in Netflix, in one of the series, or just want to check it out. With its many interactive venues, it is a very impressive place and is definitely worth a single visit just to see what’s inside.
