ACT Prep
ACT INFORMATION
Made up of 4 tests: English, math, reading, science.
There is an optional writing test (MOST of the time students will not need to take the writing, but they will need to check with their college choices to see if it is a requirement).
Scoring:
Each subtest is scored
The highest score is a 36
The average of all 4 subtest scores is the student's Composite Score
Students are not penalized for guessing -- it is best to guess if you are unsure of an answer!

Superscore?
Some colleges are now using an ACT superscore. Students will need to check with their college to know if they use superscoring.
If a student takes the ACT more than once, the highest score on each subtest (English, math, reading, and science) is averaged to calculate a new composite score.
