Scholarships
This tuition grant is provided by the Salem Community Foundation (SCF) for students who reside in Salem, West Branch, South Range, United and Leetonia Village school districts. Starting in Fall 2024, the will be automatically awarding $500.00 to 2024 high school graduates that enroll at Kent State Salem, reside within these five school districts, and have at least a 2.00 cumulative GPA.
The scholarship of $500 will be given to students after they apply, meet the above criteria and have been accepted to Kent State Salem. There is no application.

Criteria: These scholarships are available to the children or grandchildren of Farm Credit Mid-America customers pursuing careers related to agriculture or rural communities. Applicants can attend an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational or trade school.

Criteria: One female and one male varsity basketball senior athlete who is planning to attend a college, university or technical school

a note of explanation: for example, under "Recognitions" do not list classes taken. Omitting any of the required attachments (transcripts, letters of
recommendation) will make the application ineligible.

Criteria: This scholarship will be selected using a rubric based upon grade point average, class rank, class rigor, Awards & recognitions, letters of recommendation, extracurricular activities, community service and an essay you are required to write.

Criteria: the entire submission must be submitted in a single PDF file, US citizen, transcripts, live in one of the following counties: Mahoning, Columbiana, Trumbull, Lawrence, Mercer, Beaver

Criteria: Given to one male and one female from Alliance, Marlington, Sebring or West Branch. The appllicant must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or training school upon graduation.
