Students began fourth grade reading with Unit 1: Interpreting Characters - The Heart of the Story.

Students have completed:

• Unit 2: Reading the Weather, Reading the World - Purposeful Reading of Nonfiction
• Unit 3: Reading History: The American Revolution
• Unit 4: Historical Fiction
• Unit 5: Little Things Are Big - Making Meaning from Poems and Poetic Craft in Literature

Students have also read figurative language!
