Mr. Sosnov believes that teaching is the most rewarding job in the world. He is humbled to have the opportunity to mold and teach his students to become lifelong learners and future leaders of our society. He feels very lucky to be in a position to impact the lives of our children.
The best part about his job is that he gets to laugh every day. Working with younger students, there has never been a day where the children did not make him laugh. The most rewarding part of his job is getting to celebrate the success of his students with them. The “aha” moments are the reason he became a teacher. Finally, his favorite part of teaching is getting random visits from his former students.
Mr. Sosnov has found a home in the Wayne Public Schools District. He loves collaborating with teachers across all nine elementary schools, while building lasting relationships with his colleagues at Randall Carter. For him, working in a district where parents continue to support and advocate for their children makes teaching easier and more effective. He believes that students of Wayne possess critical thinking, advocacy, and leadership skills required to become successful individuals in our society.
Bonnie gives her whole heart in all she does. From her warm welcoming of her students at the morning bus drop, to the end of the day cheerful goodbyes. She starts the students' day with an energetic welcome, of a happy marvelous Monday, a terrific Tuesday, a wonderful Wednesday, happy Friday eve Thursday and a fantastic Friday. She reminds her students that they are going to have a great day. Her positive attitude continues throughout her day assisting, supporting and building self confidence in her students. From her kind words of encouragement to her bright smile, Bonnie has the knack to bring out the best in all of her students. and coworkers. She always takes a negative and turns it into a positive. Her kind words and actions make a student feel they can accomplish anything. All they have to do is try with one step, one word, one page at a time. It gives Bonnie great pleasure to watch her students grow and move up to a brighter future.
Bonnie truly loves her career and interactions with her coworkers. She often says, when you love what you do each and every day, it's not work, it's a passion. Bonnie truly loves working with her extended school family. She often hears how lucky we are to have her on our team, she quickly replies that she is the lucky one.
