Mrs. Dickens loves being a teacher because she gets to make a difference in students' lives. She enjoys being able to help students grow and see their full potential. The moment where a student is struggling and then suddenly things click and there is that ""light bulb moment,"" is what draws her to the classroom. She also loves teaching because her students make her classroom an enjoyable place to come every day. She enjoys getting to share knowledge and loves when her students share knowledge with her.
The most enjoyable part of being employed with the Wayne Township Public School District is the amazing colleagues she has. They are incredible people and she feels blessed to work with each and every one of them. They are kind, supportive, and inspiring. They all display true characteristics of what it means to be a great teacher. There is always someone to seek advice from in order to better meet the needs of her students. It takes a village to be able to help children flourish and she feels grateful to be part of such an amazing group of educators.

Lauren is grateful for the opportunity to be an employee of Wayne Township Public Schools and maintain a connection with her hometown community. She is a graduate of Wayne public schools and although much has changed since then, she is able to use her schooling experience to support her students and help them make great memories just as she did years ago.
