Miss Recchia has taught 5th grade, 3rd grade and currently teaches 1st grade. No matter what grade level she is teaching, Miss Recchia loves sharing her love of learning with her students. She works each day to create an environment that nurtures and supports positive learning experiences. Seeing the children in her class getting excited to try out a new math strategy or looking forward to a new read aloud is a great source of pride for Miss Recchia. She is dedicated to making learning fun, engaging and achievable for all her students.
Miss Recchia enjoys working with other educators in Wayne that not only have the same love of learning, but who share the same ideals and standards in education. At JFK she always feels like part of a team that supports and encourages all children in school to feel smart, safe and happy each day.
