What I love most about being a teacher is my relationship with my students. There are two sides to the teacher/student relationship. The first side being academic and the second being the personal relationship that you have with each student. Academically, there is nothing more rewarding than watching your students grow from September to June. Every single student shows growth and has something to celebrate throughout the school year. When you see the look on your students' faces when they finally got that concept they were struggling with or got that grade on the test they studied so hard for, well to me there's no better feeling. Beyond academics I thoroughly enjoy getting to know each one of my students on a personal level. I always look forward to talking to my students about their interests, what they do outside of school, and being a listening ear when they are having a bad day. Some days are not always easy, but knowing that I am making an impact on each of my students' lives is what makes this career so special to me.
What I love most about being employed with the Wayne Township Public School District is the support I receive from my colleagues and administrators. Whether it is a curriculum question, advice needed on a student, or a personal issue, I know I can count on my staff to be a listening ear. When I go into work each day I truly feel at home and know I have my work family to lean on. I admire the passion all employees in this district have for our students and the length all of us go to be able to see our students succeed. As a district we all support and uplift one another and I truly feel honored to be an employee of the Wayne Public School District.
I love being able to work with and help the staff and families. The difference you make being an educator is an unbelievable accomplishment. In my position I love being able to work with families, different staff and students. This type of work brings me joy.
I enjoy working in Wayne because there is a diverse staff and community. The Wayne public schools give me the opportunity to work with many families of all different socioeconomic backgrounds and staff of all backgrounds. This provides me with a priceless experience.
