A Kindergarten wrap around program is designed to complement and extend a student's overall kindergarten experience in a half day model that provides enrichment activities consistent with the methodology and philosophy of the regular kindergarten classroom instruction.
Time, materials, and support are offered to enrich the experiences that children obtain in our current half day program.
Students are given ample time to practice academic skills while focusing on important social aspects.
Program Hours
AM Kindergarten or K-Wrap Program:
8:55am - 11:35am
PM Kindergarten or K-Wrap Program:
12:40pm - 3:20pm
Transportation
Transportation to and from school will be provided for qualifying students based on NJ transportation requirements.
Assemblies
When appropriate, K-Wrap students will be invited to attend assembly programs that are offered during the school day.
Lunch
Students who participate in the K-Wrap Program will get the unique opportunity to buy/bring lunch and experience eating in the cafeteria with other grade level students
K-Wrap Classroom Centers
Each week new and exciting core subject centers will be set up!
LITERACY CENTERS are Reading and Writing Activities including paired/shared reads to practice sight words.
COOPERATIVE ACTIVITY CENTERS reinforce letters and practice beginning sounds using memory games, number bingo and dry erase boards to practice writing numbers, letters and sight words
INVESTIGATION CENTERS allow students to work on a multitude of messy and fun science experiments.
ART CENTERS allow students time to paint and color. Literature will be used to inspire these projects.
MATH CENTERS focus on pattern blocks, shapes, counting, sorting, coins, number writing and addition/subtraction.
FREE CENTERS offer students play choices such as: building with Legos and blocks, puzzles, magnetic letter word building and creating projects with scissors, glue, colored paper and crayons.
Online registration via our district website will open on March 6, 2019 at 8 am and will remain open until 9 pm on March 15, 2019.
Spots are not given on a first-come, first served basis. A lottery system will be used to determine eligibility if registration exceeds the number of available spaces. Parents will be notified about enrollment no later than May 17, 2019.
We will make every effort to offer a spot to every child who is registered but cannot guarantee placement
Registrations received after 9 pm on March 15, 2019 will be placed on a wait list. Parents/Guardians will be notified in writing if spots become available with information on registration and payment

The monthly tuition is $250 a month. At the time of registration, you are responsible for paying the first and last months’ tuition ($250 per month for a total of $500). All fully refundable through June 30, 2019.
