AP Classes

Advanced Placement (AP) courses are college-level classes offered in a high school setting, taught by a high school teacher. AP courses are designed to challenge students with rigorous coursework which sets students apart in the college admissions process, provides the opportunity to earn college credits (with a qualifying AP exam score), and develop time management and study skills necessary for college readiness and success.

Following is a list of the AP courses offered at WHS:

  • AP Language & Composition
  • AP US History
  • AP World History

AP exams are administered during the first two weeks of May.

Students are asked to order and pay for exam in late March.
