Jen Boeve
Pine Street Media Teacher / Literacy Coach
My education journey led me to Wayland Union Schools since 2023 as the Media Teacher at Pine Street and Literacy Coach at Dorr Elementary as well as Pine.
How did I get here? My journey started at the University of New Orleans, where I completed K-8 training in Elementary Education and graduated in 1996. Throughout my career, I have supported students and collaborated with teachers in Grades K-10 in a variety of school communities to create safe learning spaces. My passion for learning continued in grad school at GVSU, SVSU, and Concordia University-Ann Arbor. Because Literacy is interwoven in all subject areas, I quickly realized positive Literacy experiences and learning opportunities are crucial to student growth.
