CCPA and GDPR Compliance

Our key responsibilities under most data and privacy directives, including the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), are the proper securing of client confidential information and the administration of right requests within our systems.

Waybetter acts as a Service provider and Data processor on behalf of our clients. More specifically, Waybetter:

1. Whenever possible, helps clients assess whether CCPA and GDPR applies to them;

2. When applicable, acts as a Service Provider and Data Processor proscribed in our contracts;

3. Does not store information collected from GDPR countries;

4. Provides the school's privacy link in our microsite footers; and

5. Implements any privacy management services as proscribed in our contracts.
