ILEARN Grades 3-8

and Biology I

ILEARN replaces ISTEP+ in Indiana. Spring 2019 will be the first test administration of ILEARN. The English Language Arts and Math assessments will be computer-adaptive assessments. This means students will receive challenge-leveled, on-grade-level questions that are adjusted and based upon each student's reponses and demonstrated skill-level during the assessment.

  • ILEARN assesses the Indiana Academic College and Career Ready Standards for the following:
    • English/Language Arts (Grades 3-8), including Indiana Content Area Literacy Standards
    • Mathematics (Grades 3-8)
    • Science (Grades 4, 6, and students completing Biology I)
    • Social Studies (Grade 5)
  • The 2018-2019 Testing Window is April 22 - May 17, 2019
