Our Team
We are a new team with an old number. We are team 6666 System Overlords. Our team consists of 18, 13-14 year old kids that go to Waukee Timberline. Timberline opened in the fall of 2015 and is one of two schools in the Waukee Community School District that serves students in grades 8-9.
6 of us were in FLL but we have learned that FTC and FLL are not very similar. Everyone else was either in FTC in 6th grade or this is their first time in FTC. For us, in the beginning it was difficult to do anything as we didnt know everyone.
We meet every Monday and Wednesday and sometimes some people will go to our coaches house on Thursdays and Fridays to get more work done if there is a meet the next day.

Robot
The robot capabilities are:
- Latching and unlatching from the lander
- Moving minerals towards the depots to score
- Driving into the crater
- Pulling minerals out of the crater
What it has
- 20:1 gear ratio on the robot
- 60:1 gear ratio on the up motor
Programs
We have an Autonomous that:
- Unlatches from the lander
- Drives into the crater
We have a servo that drops off the team marker during autonomous period.
We also have multiple Op-Modes, based on the robot’s position in the field.
We have Tele-Op, which goes without saying.

We were given the opportunity to volunteer during an FLL competition at another Waukee school. However some of us were unable to go to that outreach.
