Watertown City School District continues to seek guidance from the State of New York and the Department of Health.

During his August 7th press call, Governor Cuomo asked that school districts post details on their websites of three specific aspects of their reopening plans.

Aspects of the plan to be shared include

  • remote learning.

  • testing of students and staff.

  • contact tracing if someone tests positive.

To communicate the reopening plans, the Governor also asked that districts schedule by August 21st

  • at least three public discussion sessions.

  • at least one discussion session for teachers/staff.
