WCSD READS

Empowering Minds, Igniting Imaginations, Creating Connections: Our District, Our Community, Our WCSD Students Read.

The Watertown City School District strives to foster a cohesive love of books and reading through shared literary experiences to unite our classrooms, families, district and community. WCSD Reads ensures a single book is placed in the hands of all students K-8. The books selected are appropriate for each specific age/grade level, outside of academic curriculum, and feature various themes that facilitate engagement, inspire conversations and foster shared, meaningful connections. Our goal is to unite and inspire students, staff and the community through the joy of reading.
